Hello! This is the first ever Creative Women International Post! In case you don’t know exactly who we are, let me give you a quick introduction…. The Creative Women International was set up nearly two years ago to support, inspire and train women working globally in the creative industries. It has grown organically into over 800 women from 22 countries sharing and inspiring each other.
Connections have been made during some of our meet ups, collaboration have happened between members, and others have helped when someone just needed a hand. I am constantly humbled by the generosity of every CWI member. You are all Wonder Women to me.
Over the coming months we are expanding the CWI to offer UK courses and talks, with plans to offer this globally as well. Big dreams can be scary though, so we are taking small steps, one at a time.
For now I wanted to say hi and welcome you to the Creative Women International website. There will be resources added shortly, a new member’s club for you to join, new events and networking opportunities, and courses you can take.
We also have a section called WOW which you can see here. It which features inspirational stories from women working in the creative industries. It was born out of a monthly feature we used to do called ‘Women On Wednesdays”.
