My mentoring session was amazing! I can’t recommend Philiy enough if you’re feeling a bit stuck and looking for a fresh perspective around your creative path. So good!

Philiy has been a great help to me in regards to starting my own creative business. She has aided me in developing new ideas and strategies to help take my business forward and has a wealth of knowledge relating to the creative industry. It is always a pleasure to discuss new possibilities and avenues with which to take my business as Philiy has a friendly and positive approach but is always realistic about your businesses potential too. If you’re looking for advice and guidance in helping build your creative business I would definitely recommend Philiy.

Being lucky enough to have experienced a few different mentors lately I was in a position where I was wondering what more advice I could possibly get and how would it benefit me. Having a one hour session with Philiy blew any preconceptions out of the water, as she methodically took each question I had and demystified a whole array of subjects! Looking back on the session and my 6 double-sided pages of scribbled notes I’m not sure how she managed to fit all the information into one session! However, she did, it was incredibly helpful and she’s bloody lovely too! In terms of investing time into your business, time with Philiy is time very well spent.

As a freelance creative and sole proprietor, it is so important to be able to connect to other creative women. Stories from other members inspire me, and allows me to connect internationally so I can keep up with what is going on in other creative industries. It’s a great resource and the support is essential.

Creative Women International has given me the opportunity to meet both local and international professional creative women, to share ideas and pearls of wisdom to what is often a very solitary world. It’s hard to put into words or to measure the ripples that something like this causes, but for me, it opens doors and expands my horizons and creates a sense of ease knowing there are millions of women out there working alone in similar aspects and that we are all in it together …for each other.

As someone who is at the start up phase of a long term project and business the Creative Women International has been an invaluable resource of information, advice and support. Having a well used online network at hand to both answer questions and positively receive my input had been a real boost during the times I have been stuck in a rut.

Philiy is such an amazing individual that makes you feel full of energy in every minute of intense creative business training. With her smiling face she gives you extra hope but at the same time she pushes every trainee to understand their own capability. By her help you become able to understand better your weak and strong sides, your positive and negative characteristics, your ups and downs, most of all your resistance to survive as an entrepreneur.

Philiy acted more like a friend than a trainer, and one of us because she was a entrepreneur too and that helps her in order to understand our concerns, fears and so on. Thanks to Philiy, I have been socialized with other entrepreneurs and I also represented my ideas and my feelings about my business idea to others. At the end of the training I felt more confident.

I admired Philiy’s teaching style, which was interactive, funny and inspiring. She knew what she was talking about as a creative entrepreneur herself. She not only taught but also gave advice on useful books, local sites and shared personal stories. She’s an amazing person and teacher.

I met with Philiy having just set up a new small business a couple of months earlier and was finding the learning curves overwhelming and confusing. Through her clarity and objective creative stance, she allowed me to focus on my original vision for the business, bringing new ideas and perspectives as well as helping me tease out the important aspects that needed attention. This lessened the overwhelming feelings which was a real help at a difficult time.

Philiy provided me with just the right support and insight I needed to move forward with my business. I was hoping for advise on promotions and expansion but what I received was that and much more. She had thought about my business inside and out from a clear perspective, and she demonstrated how I could take steps in every area from customer communication to social media strength to promotional timings to making my bigger long term visions come true.
